Maria Canals brings a grand piano to L’Hospitalet de l’Infant

On Wednesday, March 13, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., a grand piano open to everyone will be installed in Plaça Catalunya in L’Hospitalet de l’Infant.
Throughout the day, anyone who comes by will be able to play the piano, regardless of their musical experience or knowledge. The initiative aims to bring music and the piano closer to the public, encouraging musical curiosity and culture.
In addition, at 6:30 p.m., to conclude the day, there will be a recital by Xavier de la Fuente, a young classical pianist graduated from ESMUC and currently studying piano performance at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu. He was also a semifinalist in the recent 2026 edition of the television program Got Talent.
The program he will perform is as follows:
- W. A. Mozart: Fantasy in C minor, K. 475
- F. Chopin: Nocturne in C-sharp minor, Op. posthumous
- J. Brahms: Ballade in D minor, Op. 10, No. 1
- J. S. Bach: Toccata in C minor, BWV 911
- L. V. Beethoven: Appassionata Sonata, Op. 57, No. 23: second and third movements
- F. Chopin: Étude, Op. 10, No. 4
