1. Online registration and required documentation

Complete your piano competition application by submitting all required documents: official application form, passport or ID, artistic résumé, and audiovisual materials.

2. Application deadline

Respect the official registration deadline to secure your participation. Late applications will not be accepted.

3. Payment of the registration fee

Your registration will only be validated once the participation fee has been paid. Please note that the fee is generally non-refundable.

4. Required repertoire and program

Submit your musical program according to the competition rules. It is essential to respect the repertoire and duration requirements.<br/>

FAQ

How long should the preselection videos be?

The two videos together must have a maximum total duration of 20 minutes.

For the preselection videos, which Beethoven movements are not accepted?

You must present one fast movement from a Beethoven sonata, followed by another work of free choice. The following movements are not accepted:

  • Op. 26, 1st movement
  • Op. 28, 1st movement
  • Op. 101, 1st movement
  • Op. 109, 1st movement
  • Op. 110, 1st movement

Other movements from these sonatas are accepted.

Can I use a video from another competition for the preselection?

Yes, as long as it is recent and has no post-production editing. It is important that the camera remains fixed.

Can I change my program after the preselection?

No, you cannot. The program submitted during registration must be the same one you will perform during the competition. Changes will only be allowed in cases of force majeure with proper documentation, or if the artistic committee requests a modification.

How long should my program be for each round?

First round: max. 20 minutes

Second round: max. 40 minutes

Semifinal: max. 50 minutes

There is a possibility of interruption if the time limit is exceeded.

Can the score be used when performing the contemporary work?

No, the use of sheet music during the performance is not allowed.
