On Sunday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Maria Canals Porta Cua will take place at Plaça Vella in Terrassa.  Throughout the day, a grand piano will be available for everyone to play in celebration of Music Day.  This activity promotes access to music and amateur music-making for people of all ages, both within formal and non-formal education, conveying the idea that practising and enjoying music are essential for everyone’s personal development.  The event will conclude with a concert by the Banda de Terrassa at 8 p.m.  Don’t miss it! 

On Tuesday, June 30, the first diploma ceremony of the “Students and Amateurs Competition” programme will take place in the Concert Hall of the Palau de la Música Catalana. This initiative aims to promote musical culture and inspire a passion for playing instruments among young people.  Award recipients will have the unique opportunity to perform on a grand piano in the iconic Concert Hall of the Palau, a venue rich in history and symbolism. The first group of awardees will receive their diplomas on June 30, while the remaining ceremonies will take place on July 1 and July 2.
