The MCB 2027 Competition Rounds Begin

On 7 March, the Maria Canals International Piano Competition of Barcelona returns with the start of the 72nd edition.

For ten days, the piano will once again fill the Palau de la Música Catalana with talent, emotion and virtuosity. Young pianists from around the world will take on the different stages of the competition with one goal in mind: reaching the Grand Final on 17 March.

12 March · 10 am / 5 pm

Semi-final · Petit Palau
14 March · 10 am / 5 pm

Grand Final · Concert Hall
17 March · 8 pm

From 7 to 17 March, Barcelona once again becomes a meeting point for international piano talent.
