Curtis Phill Hsu, Winner of the 70th Edition of the Maria Canals Competition 2025

The pianist Curtis Phill Hsu, from the United States, has won the 70th edition of the Maria Canals International Piano Competition of Barcelona 2025, taking home the Fundació Occident Prize. Nejc Kamplet, from Slovenia, came in second and received the Maria Font de Carulla Prize, while Pin-Hong Lin, from Taiwan, placed third and was awarded the Fundació Vila Casas Prize.
