Perico Pastor pays tribute to Maria Canals on the 70th anniversary of the Competition
The renowned artist Perico Pastor has drawn inspiration from Maria Canals to create the image for the 70th anniversary of the Competition. The female figure playing the piano captures a characteristic gesture of pianists.
The artwork stands out for the contrast between the red of the dress and the colors of the piano, with its black and white keys and well-defined strings. Created with great affection, this composition pays tribute to Maria Canals' significance for Barcelona.
