Driven and jointly organized with the Fundación Occident, it is the project with the strongest social focus. It offers the opportunity to learn and play the piano to children living in neighborhoods with a high percentage of social vulnerability.
Social project
My turn to play!
The social project "My turn to play! ”, is aimed at boys and girls from the age of six so they can study piano all year for free. It takes place in Barcelona (in the Ciutat Meridiana and Verneda districts), Madrid (Usera district), Seville (La Macarena district) and Bilbao (Otxarkoaga-Txurdinaga district).
Each school in the neighborhood, for each class group, can nominate students who stand out for their talent, motivation, economic difficulties, and family involvement, to receive the Fundación Occident scholarship for a minimum of three years.
At the end of the course, all the scholarship students perform a concert in their neighborhood, open to families and neighbors, and participate in a formal ceremony for the awarding of the Fundación Occident scholarships.
The project has the participation of 25 schools, and 140 children of more than 22 nationalities.
